Jeremy Otis has over 10 years of communication design experience including web site planning and implementation, brand identity development, book and packaging design, surface design and editorial illustration. His practice serves a number of retail, consumer packaged goods and publishing clients including Atlas Peak Winery, Mumm Napa and Target.
Though Jeremy strongly believes a design solution should be an appropriate reflection of each brand’s message, his personal aesthetic is characterized by:
• a thoughtful sense of clarity, purity, humanity and purpose
• transparent and intuitive navigation systems and information design
• a symbiotic link between meaning and form
His work has been featured in Communication Arts’ Interactive Design Annual, Net Diver, Digital Thread, Linkdup and K10K; published in Webworks: e-Commerce; and recognized with the One Show’s Silver Pencil Award.
Jeremy studied both undergraduate and graduate level visual communication design at Kent State University where he also taught undergraduate courses covering the principles of two-dimensional composition and typography. Jeremy lives in the sunshine outside of San Francisco.
